The people behind this page are friends and supporters of Anthony Graves in Europe and in Texas, USA. We need your help and donations to support Anthony Graves, who was sentenced to die for a crime he did not commit, and after over 18 years in prison was finally released and totally exonerated in October 2010.
He has lost some of the best years of his life. He needs to spend time with his family, including six grandchildren that were born when he was locked up.
The state of Texas can grant economic compensation to someone who has been wrongfully imprisoned – but that is a long legal process. Anthony needs a place to live and to build up a regular life as soon as possible.
In the future, Anthony wants to tell other people about his experiences and about the facts of the death penalty – among other things how easily you can get convicted if you are too poor to pay for good lawyers.
With your support, we can also help Anthony to travel and give speeches and meet with the media, both in the United States and over here in Europe.
